Armed CarjackingPH Driver (72) Robbed of $135K Toyota Fielder

Trincity Central Road, near Republic Bank, Trincity, Tunapuna - Piarco

Two young men, aged 22 and 19, were arrested following a violent carjacking in Trincity on Sunday, December 7, 2025. The victim, a 72-year-old PH taxi driver, was robbed of his silver Toyota Fielder Wagon, valued at approximately $135,000 TTD, after the passenger seated behind him choked his neck and ordered him out of the vehicle. Police later recovered the stolen car near the Tacarigua Community Centre.
