$85,800 stolen from 52-year-old man during cryptocurrency transaction

Superpharm Car Park, Trincity Central Road, Trincity, Tunapuna - Piarco

A 52-year-old man and his 33-year-old business associate were robbed at gunpoint while attempting a cryptocurrency transaction in Trincity on Saturday evening. The victim had handed over $85,800 cash when two armed suspects, dressed in hoodies, approached their vehicle. The robbers demanded the cash and the men’s cell phones before fleeing the scene in a waiting vehicle.
