Labourer Kyle Davis, 32, of Maude Street, La Romaine, was shot and killed outside Partner's Bar at the corner of Church Street and Southern Main Road on Saturday night, July 11, 2026, in what police believe was a targeted attack. Davis was sitting on a bench outside the bar with another man when two armed gunmen approached on foot, drew firearms, and fired several shots at them shortly after 10 p.m. Davis was struck in the chest and collapsed; the other man escaped unharmed by running from the scene. The two suspects fled on foot along Church Street before police arrived. Davis was rushed to San Fernando General Hospital by a private vehicle but succumbed to his injuries at 10:29 p.m. Crime Scene Investigators recovered 11 spent 9mm shell casings, two slippers, and a blue hoodie believed to be of evidential value; no arrests have been made.
