An intelligence-led operation conducted by the South Western Division Gang and Intelligence Unit in collaboration with the Southern Division CID on Saturday, July 11, 2026, resulted in the arrest of a 35-year-old man with addresses in Tobago and LaBrea and the recovery of two stolen motor vehicles. The operation was initiated following a report of larceny of motor vehicles made by a 52-year-old Freeport man, a manager of a motor company. Officers recovered a silver Nissan Tiida bearing a false registration number and a white MG motor vehicle also bearing a false registration number, both believed to be connected to the investigation. The suspect remains in police custody while investigations continue.
