A 21-year-old of Gonzales Village, Guapo was found injured near the Guapo dump along the Archibald De Leon Highway around 12:10 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, approximately two and a half hours after the first shooting. The victim reported being shot three times—once in the abdomen, elbow, and thigh. Police responded to a report from a Central Road resident and transported the victim in a marked police vehicle to Point Fortin Hospital, where he was treated and listed in serious but stable condition. The circumstances of how the victim came to be at the dump location remain under investigation.
