Heights of AripoSangre Grande Man Stabbed, Robbed of Vehicle & Valuables

Aripo area, Blanchisseuse, Tunapuna - Piarco

A Sangre Grande man was stabbed and robbed of his vehicle, cellular phone, cash, and other valuables in the Heights of Aripo on Sunday, April 12, 2026 around 5:12 p.m. The victim had picked up two men he knew and transported them to the Aripo area, where one assailant armed himself with a knife and stabbed the victim several times about his body. The assailants then stole the victim's motor vehicle and other valuables before escaping in the stolen car. The injured man sought medical treatment for his wounds. Following investigations led by Cpl Andrews, one suspect was arrested and the stolen vehicle was recovered. Enquiries are ongoing.
