Shanice Shante Morris, 32, was shot and killed at a house on the corner of Victoria Drive West and Queensway Drive in Balmoral Park, Chaguanas on Friday night. Morris had arrived at the location after learning that a man had been shot there; gunfire erupted while she was present and she was struck by bullets. She collapsed in the driveway and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two men were also injured in the attack, including the initial shooting victim, and were taken to hospital. A child in a nearby vehicle was not physically harmed. Police are investigating.
