Five armed men raid home, assault father and tie up family in violent robbery (Father, 47; Mother, 33; Children, 15 and 6)

S.S. Erin Road, Rancho Quemado, Palo Seco, Siparia

Around 8:30 p.m. on June 5th, 2025, five armed men in a dark-coloured SUV stormed a home on S.S. Erin Road in Rancho Quemado while a couple was cleaning their white Nissan Tiida in the front yard. Two of the suspects were armed and masked, while a third wore a cream hoodie with two single plaits, and two others could not be identified. The intruders forced the couple and their two children (ages 15 and 6) into the house at gunpoint. All four family members were restrained with plastic tie straps while the suspects demanded cash. The 47-year-old father was severely beaten by the assailants, who struck him repeatedly about his body during the ordeal. Police constables Chaitramsingh and Ramdass responded to a report of robbery with violence around 10:00 p.m. and met the 33-year-old mother at Siparia Health Facility, where the family sought medical attention. The investigation into the violent home invasion and robbery is ongoing.
