Security officer Quidell Snaggs, 35, of Marshall Trace, Cunupia, was found shot multiple times on Nanlal Trace, Raghunanan Road, Cunupia, during the early hours of Sunday, May 10, 2026. Officers of the Central Division Task Force discovered Snaggs around 4:30 a.m. after responding to reports of a body lying at the side of the roadway; he had suffered gunshot wounds to the face and abdomen. Snaggs was rushed to Chaguanas District Health Facility in a police vehicle but was pronounced dead on arrival. Investigators revealed that Snaggs had reportedly accepted a hire the night before his body was discovered, suggesting a possible contracted killing. His white Toyota Aqua, registration PEE 5593, was stolen and remains missing. Police are investigating the circumstances of the murder and the vehicle theft; no arrests have been made.
