Princes TownWoman's Vehicle Torched Outside Home in Arson Attack

Moruga Road, Princes Town, Preau , Princes Town

A 42-year-old woman's red Honda Vezel was deliberately set ablaze outside her home on Moruga Road, Princes Town in the early hours of Wednesday, May 13, 2026, around 12:45 AM. The victim was awakened by a loud noise and discovered her vehicle fully engulfed in flames when she checked outside. Fire officers from Mon Repos Fire Station responded and extinguished the blaze before it could spread to the residence or neighbouring properties. During their inspection, fire officers recovered a glass bottle containing an accelerant believed to have been used to deliberately ignite the vehicle. Investigations into the arson are ongoing; no arrests have been made at this time.
