A PH taxi driver operating a white Nissan B15 along the Arima to Valencia route was robbed and assaulted by three male passengers on Monday, May 18, 2026, at approximately 8:45 p.m. near Aripo Road. One of the three suspects was armed with a firearm and announced the robbery after requesting the driver stop the vehicle. The victim was beaten several times about the body before being robbed of his vehicle, a Samsung cellular phone, and TT$220 in cash. The suspects then escaped in the stolen vehicle, heading east along the Eastern Main Road. Police from the Eastern Division and the Northern Division Emergency Response Patrol Unit conducted follow-up investigations and recovered the victim's white Nissan B15 at Marcus Trace, Valencia. The three suspects remain at large.
