A 34-year-old man from Arima was attacked with a cutlass outside his workplace in El Dorado on Monday, July 6, 2026 around 9:30 PM while walking with a female co-worker. The woman's boyfriend arrived at the scene, confronted the victim, and retrieved a cutlass from his vehicle before attacking him. The victim sustained a wound to his right leg during the assault. He managed to escape and run off, avoiding further injury. Police are investigating the incident; no arrests have been reported.
