A 30-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint and had his white Hyundai Tucson SUV stolen outside Body Physique Gym at Aripero Village, Rousillac on Monday, July 13, 2026 around 9:20 p.m. Two masked suspects approached the victim as he was entering his vehicle in the car park; one suspect, described as African descent, slim built, approximately six feet tall, brandished a firearm and announced the robbery. The victim handed over his black Samsung Galaxy S21 cellphone valued at TT$2,000, his vehicle keys left in the ignition, and his wallet containing his driver's permit, identification card, PriceSmart card, and TT$100 cash. The armed suspect entered the driver's seat while the second suspect took the rear passenger seat, and both fled in the direction of La Brea. Police officers attended the scene, interviewed witnesses, and conducted checks in surrounding areas but did not locate the stolen vehicle. Investigations are ongoing.
