A light-brown Toyota Yaris Cross SUV was stolen at gunpoint on Churchill Roosevelt Highway near Trincity Mall at approximately 2:40 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The vehicle was later recovered by Port of Spain Division officers acting on intelligence at Alleyne Trace, Never Dirty, Morvant at approximately 9:45 a.m. the same morning. Officers discovered the SUV idling at the end of the trace during Operation R.E.S.O.L.U.T.E. Shield exercise. The vehicle was seized for further processing by investigators.
