Peter Peters, 66, a PH taxi driver, was beaten to death following an altercation with two people on Thomas Street, Sunshine Avenue, San Juan on Thursday afternoon around 2 p.m. Peters was found lifeless sitting upright on the southern side of the roadway, shirtless and wearing only blue long pants. Investigators observed visible bruising to his chest, shoulders, and above his left eye, indicating blunt force trauma. Officers from the San Juan Police Station responded to an assault report around 4 p.m. and found Peters' body with his nephew present at the scene. Personnel from the Scene of Evidence Recovery Unit (SERU) processed the scene and collected two blood swabs as evidence; investigations into the identities of the two assailants are ongoing.
