Dean Sanchez of Cumuto Village was fatally stabbed during a violent brawl on Cumuto Road in Wallerfield on Sunday, July 20, 2026. Sanchez became involved in an altercation with several individuals that escalated into violence, during which he was stabbed in the chest. Video evidence circulating on social media shows four individuals engaged in a violent fight in the middle of the roadway before the confrontation spilled into nearby bushes. A second video recorded moments later shows Sanchez lying on the roadway bleeding heavily from a chest wound as several people attempted to stop the bleeding and called for help. Sanchez was taken to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Police are investigating the circumstances of the fatal stabbing; no arrests have been reported at this time.
