Two teenagers were robbed at knifepoint while closing Arianna's Mini Mart on Pokhor Road, Longdenville on Wednesday night at approximately 7:25 p.m. A man armed with a knife forced his way into the business, pointed the weapon at the victims, announced a robbery and demanded valuables. Fearing for their safety, one teen handed over TT$2,000 in cash representing the day's sales. The suspect then entered a waiting vehicle bearing registration number PDD 8057 while a second suspect, the driver, lowered the window and threatened both victims before speeding away. The victims reported the incident to their mother, who subsequently reported the matter to police. The make and model of the getaway vehicle were not immediately known, and the direction of travel was unknown.
