Around 12:00 a.m. on June 19th, 2025, a 60-year-old woman arrived home in Lange Park and was closing her front gate when she was approached by three armed men who announced a robbery. CCTV footage showed the suspects had been hiding in an abandoned house across the street, waiting for her arrival before launching their attack. The men forced the woman inside, tied her hands and feet with cords, and ransacked the house, escaping with an undisclosed quantity of cash and jewellery. The victim was not physically harmed. Police are hunting three Venezuelan men believed to be behind a series of robberies in the Chaguanas area. The suspects match descriptions of individuals known to police for involvement in similar violent robberies in the Central Division.
