A 78-year-old pensioner was beaten and robbed by an intruder who entered her home on Corial Road, Williamsville on Sunday at approximately 11:40 AM. The man, wearing a red bandana, forced his way into the home armed with a cutlass and beat the elderly woman while threatening to kill her. The suspect robbed her of a cellphone, watch, and $2,000 before fleeing the scene. The traumatized woman ran outside screaming for help after the attacker fled, and neighbors contacted police. Police are investigating the incident and searching for the suspect.
