Pensioner shot in chest by 'Moko' at her Princes Town home

Solomon Street, Woodlands , Princes Town

A female pensioner (Wendy Thomas) was hospitalized after being shot by a known offender, Nazrudeen Sookoor, also known as "Moko," at her residence on Solomon Street, Princes Town. Around 10:50 p.m., the victim was standing at her front door when the suspect entered her yard, pointed a firearm, and fired multiple shots, striking her in the chest. Following the attack, officers from the Southern Division Task Force apprehended the suspect, who was found in possession of a Browning 9mm pistol with an extended magazine and three live rounds. The suspect is reportedly a repeat offender with a history involving firearms, narcotics, and motor vehicle larceny.
