Teacher (49) robbed at cutlass-point in Chaguanas home invasion

A 49-year-old teacher was awakened around 3 a.m. on Friday after an intruder gained entry to her Chaguanas home. The victim was confronted by a dark man wearing a ski mask and armed with a cutlass, who announced a robbery and demanded cash. Fearing for her safety, the teacher handed over $40,000 in cash before the suspect fled the residence.
