The incident began as a disagreement among acquaintances that escalated into a physical confrontation as the victim attempted to leave the area. He was assisted by responding officers and rushed to a medical facility in Arima, then transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt. Hope, where his condition was stabilized and listed as stable.
