Mizzalan Farria, 41, of KP Lands, Valencia, was attacked with a cutlass by his 60-year-old neighbour Leslie Sandy along Bye Pass Road on Thursday morning around 7 a.m. during a violent dispute. Sandy allegedly chopped Farria several times about the body, including the head and left forearm, causing severe injuries. Officers responding to the scene found the victim lying on the roadside bleeding and immediately rushed him to Arima Hospital, where he was later transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for further treatment. Crime scene investigators processed the area and recovered a cutlass and a hammer believed to be linked to the attack.
