WallerfieldHome Invasion Robbery; Four Arrested, Shotgun Seized

Residential address in Wallerfield (Pinto district), Carapo , Tunapuna - Piarco

A woman was robbed at gunpoint during a home invasion at her Wallerfield residence on Thursday morning, May 21, 2026, at approximately 11:10 a.m. Four armed men approached through nearby bushes, forced entry by breaking down the front door, and announced a robbery while holding the victim at gunpoint. The suspects stole jewellery, a gold chain, earrings, a watch, and TT$5,000 in cash before escaping through nearby bushes. The victim was not physically harmed but was left shaken. An intelligence-led operation was launched in the Pinto district, coordinated by senior officers including Superintendent McKenzie, ASP Balewa, and Inspector David, with direct supervision by Sgt Sahadeo, Cpl Dedier, and PC Joseph. Four suspects were arrested and a shotgun was recovered during the operation. Investigations remain ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence and pursue further leads.
