CaparoHome Invasion Suspect Arrested, 5 Rounds Seized by H.I.T.

Chin Johnson Trace, Caparo, Todds Road, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

A 40-year-old man from Chin Johnson Trace, Caparo was arrested by the Home Invasion Team (H.I.T) of the National Special Operations Unit during a police operation in the early hours of Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The suspect is believed to be involved in organized home invasions. Five live rounds of ammunition were recovered and seized from his premises during the operation. The operation was spearheaded by ACP Richard Smith, coordinated by ASP St. Clair, and supervised by Sgt. Reviero.
