Point FortinCourier Robbed of $3,600 at Knifepoint During Package Delivery

Southern Main Road, Carnival Supermarket, Dow Village, Dow , Siparia

Amit Ammir Khan, 20, also known as 'Chulo,' robbed Carnival Supermarket on Southern Main Road, Dow Village on Monday afternoon, demanding cash and high-end liquor from the cashier at gunpoint. Khan entered the supermarket without disguise around 2:55 p.m., then pulled a cloth over his head before approaching the counter armed with what appeared to be a weapon. The cashier complied and handed over money and several bottles of liquor. Officers from the South Western Division Emergency Response Unit spotted Khan exiting the back of the supermarket shortly after the robbery and apprehended him before he could escape.
