MorugaMan Slashed with Cutlass by Relative, Serious Head Wound

St Mary's Village, Moruga, Moruga, Princes Town

Gabriel Diaz, 28, of St Mary's Village, Moruga, was attacked with a cutlass by a male relative at his home on Wednesday morning around 11:30 am. The argument between the two escalated into violence when the relative armed himself with a cutlass and launched a brutal attack, inflicting multiple chop wounds. Diaz sustained a deep wound to the left side of his head measuring approximately 10 to 12 centimetres and extending to the bone, along with a serious injury to his right hand. He was rushed to Princes Town Health Facility for treatment of his injuries.
