A 42-year-old Malabar man was robbed near the Point Fortin PNM constituency office on the main road at approximately 4 a.m. on Saturday morning. Two armed men approached the victim with a knife, placed it at his waist, and announced a robbery, taking a $10,000 gold chain, three gold rings valued at $8,000, a $1,200 gold watch, $1,000 cash, and a $7,000 cellphone—totalling approximately $27,200 in stolen property. The suspects escaped on foot towards a nearby restaurant. Police canvassed the area for CCTV footage and conducted checks for the suspects; no arrests have been reported.
