Officers of the High Performance Response Team and Point Fortin CID conducted an operation on Monday, April 27, 2026, at approximately 11:00 AM in response to a report of a suspicious individual at Tulip Drive, Clifton Hill. Upon arrival, officers observed a male suspect who fled the scene, prompting a foot chase. During the pursuit, the suspect discarded an item into a nearby drain before escaping into a densely vegetated area. A subsequent search of the area led to the discovery of a revolver and two rounds of ammunition.
