Las LomasMakeshift Shotgun Seized in Central Division Operation

Mc Lean Trace, Las Lomas #1, Nancoo Village, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

Officers of the Central Division Task Force (Area North) seized one makeshift shotgun constructed of metal and wood during an anti-crime exercise on Mc Lean Drive, Las Lomas #1 on May 4, 2026. The operation, conducted between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight, was led by ACP Remy, Snr. Supt. Bhagwandeen, ASP Hosein, Insp. Rampersad, Sgt. Ali and Sgt. Ramsubhag. Officers discovered the firearm during a search of a nearby bushy area following intelligence received during Operation Steady Guard.
