The operation, conducted between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight, was led by ACP Remy, Snr. Supt. Bhagwandeen, ASP Hosein, Insp. Rampersad, Sgt. Ali and Sgt. Ramsubhag. Officers discovered the firearm during a search of a nearby bushy area following intelligence received during Operation Steady Guard.
