Las Lomas68-Year-Old Pensioner Robbed at Gunpoint in Home Invasion

Rodney Road, Las Lomas No. 2, Nancoo Village, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

A 68-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint inside her home on Rodney Road, Las Lomas No. 2 on Tuesday morning around 11:30 a.m. Three intruders were already inside the house when she returned; one armed gunman pointed a firearm at her face and ordered her to remain quiet while sitting on a couch. The suspects stole jewellery including a gold chain, wedding bands, a gold ring, and two silver bracelets, along with $1,200 in cash from her purse and two Samsung cellular phones. After taking the items, the suspects escaped by jumping over the front fence. Police described the gunman as African descent, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, dark brown complexion, short hairstyle, wearing a black jersey with cloth covering his nose and mouth. No arrests have been reported.
