West EndEx-Boyfriend Charged with Rape, Assault of Ex-Girlfriend

Suspect's residence, West End police district, Diego Martin

A 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted and beaten at her ex-boyfriend's residence in the West End police district around 9 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The 23-year-old suspect, who is the father of the woman's child, allegedly began touching her inappropriately; when she told him to stop, he allegedly restrained her and forced himself on her despite her repeated protests. The suspect allegedly forced the woman to perform oral sex and assaulted her multiple times about the body and face. He allegedly recorded portions of the attack on his cellphone. Police charged the suspect with rape following the investigation into the allegations. The woman received medical attention and provided a statement to investigators detailing the violent incident.
