Gas Station Manager Robbed of $144K in Cash and Vapes at Gunpoint

Bonne Aventure Main Road, NP Quik Shoppe (near Gasparillo Police Station), Gasparillo, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

A gas station manager at NP Quik Shoppe on Bonne Aventure Main Road, Gasparillo was robbed at gunpoint around 6:05 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025. Two armed men dressed in dark clothing with concealed faces stormed the manager's office located behind the cashier area while the manager was checking cash from the previous shift. The suspects announced the robbery and seized $144,956 in cash and 12 Kali electronic vapes valued at $2,400 before fleeing the scene. The robbery occurred just steps away from the Gasparillo Police Station. The suspects escaped in a silver Toyota Axio (registration PEB 8152) heading east along the main road. Despite a swift police response, the getaway vehicle was not located. Officers from Gasparillo CID including Inspector Alexander, Sergeant Teeluck, Sergeant Ramoo, and CSI investigators attended the scene.
