AroucaWoman Robbed of Phone, Jewelry & $690 on Albert Street

Albert Street, Arouca, Arouca, Tunapuna - Piarco

A woman of Boundary Street, Arouca was robbed on Albert Street at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, when two men approached her, threatened her, and demanded valuables. The suspects took two chains, a gold-colored wedding band valued at $3,000, a Samsung S25 Ultra cellular phone valued at $10,000, and $690 in cash before fleeing north along Market Street. Officers from the Arouca CID, in collaboration with St. Joseph CID and the North Central Division Robbery Squad, conducted an operation at Eastern Main Road, Curepe, in the vicinity of a jewellery store. Three individuals were arrested in connection with the robbery: a 27-year-old man of Ragoonanan Road, Chaguanas, a 29-year-old man of San Fernando, and a 29-year-old man of Farm Road, St. Joseph.
