A 44-year-old woman was attacked and stabbed multiple times in her head, neck, and back by a man believed to be mentally ill while walking near the Anglican church along Caratal Road around 2 am. She reported the incident to the Gasparillo Police Station and was treated at the San Fernando General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
