A man was shot by his sister's boyfriend in Curepe on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The victim was wounded and fell into a drain, damaging a water pipeline in the process. Police located the suspect who fled the scene in a white Toyota Aqua that was parked nearby. The wounded man was transported to hospital and treated for his injuries, listed in stable condition. Investigators recovered a firearm believed to have been used in the attack and several spent shell casings at the scene.
