Sea LotsMan Shot Dead, Woman Wounded in Drive-By

Sea Lots, Port of Spain

A man, identified as Christopher "Brain" Sampson, was shot and killed during a drive-by shooting in Sea Lots on Saturday morning, May 30, 2026. A 21-year-old woman was also struck and wounded in the same incident. Residents discovered both victims bleeding and transported them to hospital, where Sampson was pronounced dead at 1:27 am and the woman was reported in stable condition by Saturday morning. Officers from the Port of Spain Division and Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) attended the scene and recovered 34 spent 5.56 calibre shells and 3 spent 7.62 calibre shells, indicating multiple firearms were discharged. The Region I Homicide Bureau is continuing enquiries into the incident; no arrests have been made.
