Two women were tied to a bed with tie straps during a home invasion in Claxton Bay on Wednesday. The assailants, dressed in dark clothing with face masks and gloves, threatened one victim with death if she moved, then ransacked the house and stole jewellery, cash, and cellular phones. The younger woman eventually freed herself and discovered the extent of the theft throughout the residence. Investigators determined the intruders gained entry by removing louvre panes from a window.
