The victim was liming with several people when a man entered the home armed with a knife, approached him and stabbed him in the chest following a brief confrontation. The wounded man pursued his attacker before collapsing nearby while bleeding profusely. Residents alerted emergency services and police officers rushed him to the St James Medical Facility, where he was treated and listed in stable condition. Investigators arrested a suspect during an operation in the area and recovered a knife and other items believed to be linked to the attack.
