Red HillPolice Raid Illegal Gambling Den, 21 Arrested, $10,000+ Seized

Secret location in Red Hill, concealed gambling den behind false wall in business establishment, D'Abadie , Tunapuna - Piarco

Officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force and Maloney Police Station conducted a pre-dawn anti-crime exercise that uncovered a concealed gambling den hidden behind a false wall inside a business establishment in Red Hill. During the intelligence-led operation, officers breached multiple secured barriers before discovering a secret room where numerous men were allegedly engaged in gambling activities. Police seized more than $10,000 in cash and quantities of alcohol from the location. Twenty-one people, including the business owner, were arrested during the raid.
