A man was robbed of his gold chain on the Southern Main Road (SMR) in Cunupia around 7:30 PM on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Four suspects were apprehended within minutes of the robbery after Operations Manager Johnny Abraham coordinated a rapid police response via the National Operations Center. A team led by Corporal Ramadhin of the Central Warrants Department intercepted a Nissan Tiida in the Caroni area around 7:40 PM with all four suspects inside. The stolen gold chain was recovered during the interception. Sergeant Khemraj Sahadeo and members of the Home Invasion Team assisted in the operation.
