Jeromy Rogers, 35, was attacked with a cutlass by a neighbour on La Baja Road, Maracas, St Joseph on Thursday morning around 11 a.m. while picking mangoes in a relative's backyard. An argument over the mangoes escalated into a physical confrontation, during which the suspect allegedly chopped Rogers multiple times. Rogers sustained injuries to his neck, shoulders and elbows from the cutlass wounds. He made his own way to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he was treated and listed in stable condition. Police are continuing investigations into the incident; no arrests have been made.
