A man was robbed of a gold chain and his Nissan Almera vehicle by two gunmen at a bar in Mayo, Gasparillo around 1:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The victim immediately contacted Emergency 999, prompting rapid police coordination across the Ste. Madeleine and Gasparillo areas, including the Highway Patrol, SD ERP led by Cpl. Bhairosingh, and the San Fernando Crime Patrol led by PC Abdool. The stolen vehicle was intercepted at Tarodale, Ste. Madeleine at approximately 1:25 AM, just 25 minutes after the robbery. Both suspects managed to elude capture and fled the scene. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the gunmen and recover the gold chain.
