Three men arrested with loaded firearm and stolen vehicle in St Clair

Outside Ellerslie Shopping Plaza, St Clair, Port of Spain

Three men from Mon Repos Road, Morvant were arrested on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, after police intercepted a suspicious white Nissan AD Wagon (registration PDL 1709) parked outside Ellerslie Shopping Plaza in St Clair around 3:05 p.m. Officers from St Clair Police Station, including PC Mohammed, PC Buchoon, and PC Guyramsingh, conducted a search of the vehicle and suspects. The search revealed a Taurus pistol with its serial number filed off, loaded with 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition. The vehicle was also found to be bearing false registration plates and is suspected to have been stolen. The three suspects, identified as Jabari Clarke, 24, of Mon Repos Road, Morvant, and two others, were arrested and taken into custody for further investigation.
