Sohan Trace, First Caledonia, Morvant, Port of Spain

A 36-year-old man was shot in the right thigh during a robbery outside his Morvant home on Sunday, August 3, 2025, around 10:15 p.m. while standing on the roadway in front of his residence in the company of a man known as 'Foreman'. Two male suspects approached and announced a robbery; the victim struggled with the first suspect, described as African descent with slim build and low-cut hairstyle, wearing a grey T-shirt and black three-quarter pants and known by the alias 'Taqbir'. The second suspect, of mixed descent with fair complexion, wore a red T-shirt, black three-quarter pants, and a yellow mask and was armed with a firearm; during the altercation, the victim heard three loud explosions and felt a burning sensation in his right thigh.
