Woman robbed and nephew shot during home invasion (39-year-old woman, 43-year-old nephew)

Cuthbert Circular, Four Roads, Diego Martin

A 39-year-old woman was robbed and her 43-year-old nephew was shot during a home invasion at Cuthbert Circular, Four Roads, Diego Martin on Tuesday evening around 6:15 PM. Two men entered through the front door, threatened the woman, and robbed her of jewelry and electronics valued at approximately $10,500 including a gold chain, Samsung phone, gold ring, and earring. After leaving the house, the suspects encountered the nephew in the yard, and when he jump-kicked one of them, the armed suspect opened fire, striking the nephew in the right wrist. The injured man was treated at St James Medical Complex for the gunshot wound and listed in stable condition. Crime Scene officers recovered a spent 9mm shell casing from the scene.
