Teen student killed in La Horquetta gun attack (Ezekiel Moore, 16)

Gladiolus Crescent, off De Freitas Boulevard, La Horquetta, Carapo , Tunapuna - Piarco

A 16-year-old secondary school student, Ezekiel Moore, a pupil of Malabar Secondary School, was shot and killed on Gladiolus Crescent, off De Freitas Boulevard in La Horquetta on Monday night. Gunmen approached the area and opened fire, with Moore sustaining fatal injuries and being pronounced dead at the scene. Moore's father was also struck during the attack and was rushed for medical treatment, though his condition remains unclear. Initial reports indicate the motive for the shooting has not yet been established. No arrests have been reported as of late Monday night, and police are investigating the incident.
