Double murder near Hillview College (Kyle Alexander, 45; Jesus Sergeant, 38)

Marcano Trace, Upper El Dorado Road, near Hillview College, Tunapuna, Tunapuna - Piarco

A deadly shooting occurred on Upper El Dorado Road at Marcano Trace, El Dorado, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, claiming two lives and injuring two others. Multiple gunshots were fired during the incident, with victims rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC) for emergency treatment. Two victims, Marlon Alexander and Jesus Sergeant, were pronounced dead on arrival after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies. A third victim, Isaiah Richardson, remains hospitalised in critical condition with multiple gunshot injuries. A fourth injured man, Rivaldo Fortune, was shot in the right leg and is in stable condition. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The motive remains unclear at this time, and no arrests have been reported.
