A 55-year-old foreman from Signal Hill was shot and wounded in Patience Hill on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, around 9:30 a.m. The victim had stopped near a playing field when a man of African descent, dark-skinned, of average height and medium build, approached in a brown vehicle. The suspect brandished a firearm and threatened the victim with the words 'yuh feel ah forget yuh' before discharging the weapon. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his left forearm. The victim drove himself to Scarborough General Hospital for treatment. The suspect fled the scene along Patience Hill. Police are investigating the incident.
