On February 19th at approximately 7:59 a.m., the victim wired $9,000 TT dollars to Republic Bank under the name Zachary Matthews, as listed by the suspect Savita Maraj, after seeing the vehicle advertised on Facebook Marketplace. The following day, February 20th, the victim transferred an additional $3,000 TT dollars after further communication with the suspect regarding the vehicle. Attempts to reach the suspect since the transactions have been unsuccessful, and police are investigating the matter as a case of fraud and theft through online deception.
